If you are reading this article chances are you might have once purchased a PLR ebook publishing package and need to know how to prepare the sales pages for your PLR ebooks and upload them to your internet home business opportunity website. I am going to assume, for the sake of this article that you have some HTML knowledge and a PayPal account.

Once you download the PLR ebook package to your hard-drive and open the folder; you will most likely find several more folders inside that contain the ebook, information documentation about distribution rights, graphics and webpages. Although you may be eager to upload everything to your internet home business opportunity website the first thing to do is to modify the sales page.

Altering the sales page

After reading the sales page you will get an idea of what needs to be changed. Usually, the parts you need to modify will be in bold text and in a different color from the main sales copy. They will most likely be placed in square brackets. For instance:

Making changes to the sales page is not complicated, even if you don’t know a lot of HTML. All you need to do is to click the “view source” tab on your browser, copy and paste the text into a new file in your HTML editor and delete the square brackets and text and type your own.

Most PLR packages allow you to change the sales text, the price and the bonus offer. However, it is best to check the terms and conditions to be sure.

Why change the sales information? Remember, you aren’t the only one that bought the ebook publishing package. Thus your customer may have seen the offer before. Altering the sales page lets you stand apart from the crowd and improve your chances of making a sale.

To be sure the sales go to you, you need to change the payment button. Therefore, you would have to log into your PayPal account, click on the “Merchants Services” tab and make a “Buy Now” button. The process asks you to set a price and product name. When setting the price, if you choose to set one lower or higher to that of the merchant, be sure you don’t price yourself out of the market. Also, choose a name you will remember so you can keep track of sales.

If you would like to use the “Buy Now” button the designer made then click on the “Use your own button image” radio button in the “customize button” section and enter the url of the graphic.

Next, you want to click “Step 3 Customize advanced features (optional)” and set the first three radio buttons to “no”. Then check the two boxes that read “Take customer to a specific page (URL) after checkout cancellation”, and “Take customer to a specific page (URL) after successful checkout”. Your next step
is to enter the url of these two pages on your internet home business opportunity website.

Once you press the create button, copy the code and paste it in your HTML editor where the “Buy Now” button would be located.

After that is complete you want to make sure your graphics will be loaded. Go through the HTML code and locate all the images. It may be necessary to change the url of each image to the url where the images will be located on your internet home business opportunity website. A separate directory should be made on your website so you can place all the graphics there.

Now you can save the page and upload the sales page as well as the graphics into the appropriate directories. After that is complete, you should check to see how everything looks and if your checkout process works. To see how your page looks simply type in the sales page url and make sure all your graphics are there, then click on the “Buy Now” button to make sure the details are correct.
